Festival History

“The Missouri Food & Wine Festival is produced by Associated Artists, a Bob Nichols Company. Born of the desire to produce high quality, first class events that draw an exciting new demographic to Branson while providing a festive atmosphere for local attendees as well.

Beginning in 2009, in approximately 7,500 square feet of exhibition space, the first group of Wineries, Eateries and eclectic merchants branded their wares in front of nearly 1000 attendees. 42 booths were occupied for the first two day event and enormous fun was had by all.

In 2010, the now annual festival returned with over 15,000 square feet of exhibition space and an even larger, more diverse sampling of Foods, Beverages, Products and Services. The addition of the “Best of Missouri Wine Classic” as well as a competition for “Chef of the Fest” on a new Live Kitchen Theatre provided additional entertainment for the more than 2000 Foodies that came that year. In 2010 Andy Williams made a personal appearance to sample his own private label wine as well as autograph his new book, “Moon River and Me”. Chad Horvath of the Chateau Grille was name “Chef of the Fest”. Best Overall White Wine went to Stone Hill Winery for their 2009 Traminette and the title of “Best Overall Red” also went to Stone Hill Winery for their 2006 Norton.

The History of the 2011 Festival is being written...
